Snoop Dogg gifted both Ed Sheeran and Russell Crowe a chunky gold necklace from his own record label, worth $9,600 each, as he partied with the pair backstage at his show in Melbourne over the weekend. 

The rapper shared a video of the duo unwrapping the gifts as the unlikely trio caught up at Rod Laver Arena. 

Snoop, 51, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., could be seen placing the blingy necklace around Ed’s neck.

The Shape of You singer beamed as he tried on his new jewellery. 

The chunky logo chain come from his Death Row Records jewellery line and he recently gave one to Jamie Foxx.

‘Amazing Mr Ed,’ Snoop captioned one photo of the British superstar fawning over the present. 

Ed then posted a photo of the two new pals posing up together while he was enjoying a drink and the rapper puffed away on a joint. 

‘I had a very good time,’ Ed captioned his post. 

One member of Snoop’s entourage also shared a video of the moment the two met, writing: ‘Welcome 2 Death Row.’

Fans couldn’t get enough of the pair’s newfound friendship as the photos went viral.

‘The duo I didn’t know I needed,’ one fan wrote.

The employee, known as Renegade, revealed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show she had rolled more than 450,000 joints for Snoop during that time.

‘I calculate it at over 450,000. I do about half a pound a day, which is 75 to 150 joints,’ she told radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

Sandilands said he once spent time in California with Snoop, who told him he’d learned how to roll joints from late hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur.
